Hours of Operation: Our P.A.W.S. Clinic is open
to the public on Thursdays by appointment only. We are located next
to the main Humane Society building. For rates or to make an
appointment call (928)
205-7415.Information: P.A.W.S. is a low cost spay and neuter clinic dedicated to reducing the breeding population of dogs and cats and eliminating the need to euthanize adoptable animals. We also offer Microchipping and Vaccinations at the time of surgery only. Instructions to follow after scheduling a spay/neuter appointment : The night before surgury take food and water away by
10pm.
Bring pet
to the Humane Society of the White Mountains between 7 a.m. &
7:30 a.m. on the day of the surgury.
Please
ensure that your dog is walked before coming to the clinic. All dogs
must be on a leash.
ALL cats
must be in a cat carrier. If you don`t have one we can lend you one
on the day before.
No
animals can be lactating. Mothers must be away from their babies for
2 weeks (minimum) to stop producing milk.
Puppies
and kittens must be at least 16 weeks old and weigh a minimum of 2
pounds.
After
surgury, female pets will be tattooed at the incision.
You must
pick up your pet by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the surgury. Animals
will not be kept overnight. 24 hour care is not
provided.
Payment
is due when you pick up your pet. We accept cash, checks, and major
credit cards.To be valid, Assistance Coupons must be presented at
the time you schedule an appointment.

of emergency, associated with the surgury, call the Humane Society
at (928) 368-5295 or (928) 205-7415.
After
hours, call Dr. Helzer at the number provided on your surgury form.
Veterinary care, not directly associated with the spay/neuter
surgury, will not be provided
We
strongly recommend that your pet is up to date on vaccinations
before surgury, including Bordatella.
Vaccines
are available only in addition to surgury; this is not a low-cost
vaccination clinic, it`s a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Please do
not schedule appointments for animals who only need vaccinations,
they will not be honored.
No other
veterinary services are provided at our clinic. We encourage you to
make an appointment with one of the local veterinarians listed
below.
