License Information - Navajo County tags are issued at the Humane
Society, and at some veterinarian offices. The tags are good for one
year and expire 12/31 each year. Cost of tags: neutered males
and spayed females are $5.00, and unaltered animals are
$15.00. Kennel license are $75.00, with renewal after March
15th an additional $5.00. Pinetop/Lakeside city license are
issued at the Humane Society. Cost: altered $5.00, unaltered
$15.00. Show Low city tags are issued at the city
offices. Cost: altered $5.00, unaltered
$15.00.
Free Pet ID
Tags
- These Durable,
stainless steel tags are a lost pet's ticket home. Research tells us
that a pet will become lost at least once in it's lifetime.
Lost
and Found Services - We provide
the only centralized "Pet Lost and Found Department" in Navajo and
Apache Counties.
Pet Adoptions
Spay and Neuter - Our adoption fees include the entire cost of spaying
or neutering, a free physical examination by a contracting
Veterinarian and vaccinations. In compliance with Arizona State Law,
all animals adopted from our shelter must be
sterilized.

Please print
forms, fill out, and then either fax them to: (928) 368-4214 or drop
them off at the shelter. More forms will be available soon.
Information and
Referral Service - We spend as much time as possible reaching out to our
community through our teachings of responsible pet ownership. We
sponsor annual poster contests within the school districts and offer
many students and adults presentations regarding over-population of
pets and responsible ownership.
Discount Shot Clinics -
We offer these quarterly to the community to
encourage proper vaccinations at a discounted
rate.
Micro Chipping
- We offer micro chipping
to the public for $30 per animal. No appointment
necessary. Individuals adopting an animal will be given the
option to have their animal chipped at no extra
charge.
